Hi, I’m Shannon Sexton, a photographer, writer, and social media manager.

My photography and writing have been published by The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, Simon & Schuster, Women’s Agenda, and Who Magazine. I was a finalist in the Olive Cotton Awards, a placegetter in the Picturing Footscray Awards, served as the portrait artist for Van Walker’s Ghostingalbum, and produced video art for Jeff Lang’s music video, Blues for Matthew. I was also featured on this list of The Top 10 Best Photography Portfolio Examples of 2024.

Alongside photography and writing, I manage social media for music and creative clients, creating content that‘s straightforward, bold, and full of personality.

I live in Melbourne’s inner west with my daughter and our ginger cat, Kenny.

I play bass guitar, love New York, prefer autumn, and have a penchant for stiletto boots, lipstick, and rock ‘n’ roll.
